Job Description
- Payroll Management Oversee and manage the end to end payroll process ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal state and local regulations
- Workday Expertise Utilize extensive knowledge of Workday Payroll to configure maintain and optimize payroll systems and processes
- Team Leadership Lead mentor and develop a team of payroll professionals fostering a collaborative and high performance work environment
- Compliance Ensure all payroll activities comply with relevant laws and regulations including tax filings wage and hour laws and reporting requirements
- Process Improvement Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy
- Reporting and Analysis Generate and analyze payroll reports providing insights and recommendations to senior management
- Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with HR Finance and other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations and address any issues or concerns
- Audits and Reconciliations Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of payroll data to ensure accuracy and integrity
- System Upgrades Stay current with Workday updates and enhancements leading system upgrades and testing as needed
- Training and Development Provide training and support to payroll staff on Workday Payroll functionalities and updates Excellent verbal written communication skills
- DriveWork with team on scrum calls and provide mom for such meetings calls
- Excellent coordination skills
- Knowledgeable in all phases of project management life cycle Initiation Execution Monitoring Control Closure
- MUST be aware of Project Life SDLC software development life cycle
- Experience with JIRA preferable Proficiency in Microsoft office Excel PowerPoint and Microsoft Project MPP
