What You Will Do
- Direct, Lead, and continue to Build the Optimization program for the Workday Practice. This includes activities related to production support, planned assessments, Phase X deployments, and advising on Workday program governance and support models
- Ensure that the team builds and nurtures relationships with each client and develops a regular meeting cadence for status updates
- Ensure that the team builds and nurtures relationships with the internal client support team, gaining an understanding of areas of expertise, backup resources and availability
- Direct activities designed to prioritize and develop effort estimates for client support requests
- Ensure that the appropriate functional and technical resources are assigned to support client needs
- Direct the progress monitoring of client support requests and intervene when needed to continue progress and meet client needs
- Collaborate with Resource Manager to identify resources to support client needs
- Assist Optimization Manager to coordinate resource logistics and planning with clients including introductions and tenant access
- Develop and maintain procedures necessary for engagement start-up with new clients
- Participate in kick-off meetings with new clients to set expectations and gather information needed for project start-up
- Participate in kick-off meeting and periodic status meetings with the internal Guidehouse support team to set expectations and share information related to new client and engagement activities
- Direct the process to develop, maintain and present to clients the budget analysis used to monitor planned vs actual hours and budget spent
- Ensure that consulting team trains client on internal Guidehouse tools used to manage engagement initiatives (project portal, etc.)
- Ensure that consulting team assists clients with tenant management
- Ensure that consulting team assists clients with the features and use of Workday Community
- Assist consultants to prioritize work, schedule meetings and overcome obstacles as needed.
- Provide support in the development of RFP/RFI responses, SOW language and orals presentations is it relates to post-production support
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree and a MINIMUM of SEVEN (7) years of experience using Workday or other ERP(s), OR a Master's degree with a MINIMUM of FIVE (5) years of experience using Workday or other ERP(s). Years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree, such as: no degree with ELEVEN (11) years of experience using Workday or other ERP(s)
- Experience leading Workday client initiatives in a production environment
- Up to 25% travel with a focus on work from home and/or Guidehouse office, consultants may provide on-site support for key milestones as needed
- This role is a hybrid role which will require you to go into the closest Guidehouse Office as needed or on occasion
What Would Be Nice To Have
- Preference will be given to candidates who reside within a reasonable number of miles of a Guidehouse Office
- Workday Engagement Manager Certification
- Workday Public Sector experience preferred
The annual salary range for this position is $144,400.00-$216,600.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
