The Workday Integration Software Development Eng Principal (Principal level) uses broad expertise in resolving unique software development engineering applications issues. Is an individual contributor level that does not lead other employees or teams.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and deploying system configuration and system enhancements Collaborating with IT and HR for the identification and resolution of issues, evaluating potential system enhancements, upgrades, and/or system conversions as part of project
- Designing and executing report writing functions by creating custom reports (i.e. composite, matrix, BIRT, and dashboards) and modifying Workday delivered reports with the ability to create calculated fields leveraging business objects
- Performing analysis into the root cause of problems and resolve as appropriate during project development
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining user procedures, guidelines, and business processes documentation
- Creating and managing processes to support MSS, ESS, and HR data entry to preserve integrity and accuracy
Qualifications
- 10+ years of Workday experience is required (can be a mix of functional and integration experience)
- HR industry experience is required
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
- You are an HR technology professional with experience supporting Workday Core HCM, Leaves/Absence, Recruiting and Security.
- You have strong interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- You can participate as a team player and provide superior customer support.
- You can effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously and have displayed the ability to work with sensitive and confidential data.
