Position: Reporting and Integrations Developer, Workday HCM Finance
Location: Hybrid - Providence, RI (mostly remote, with twice-monthly onsite meetings)

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Reporting and Integrations Developer to join our team supporting the State of Rhode Island. The ideal candidate will act as a Technical Lead for the Workday HCM, Finance, and Payroll implementation while collaborating with the Oracle EBS technical team during the migration. This role involves developing advanced reports and integrations while shaping the data strategy to deliver actionable insights that drive organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Workday HCM reports and dashboards, including calculated fields, worksheets, report groups, discovery boards, and composite reports.
- Design, build, and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, including at least 10 complex integrations.
- Implement and manage integration security, EIBs, BIRT, and XSLT for seamless data exchange.
- Provide technical leadership in data governance, ensuring the delivery of actionable metrics to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Finance workstream to implement Workday Finance functionalities, including Journal Entries and Journal Lines.
- Act as a subject matter expert in Finance, HCM, and Payroll reporting and integrations.
- Support the current Oracle EBS technical system during the transition to Workday.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience developing advanced Workday HCM reports and dashboards (e.g., calculated fields, custom objects, discovery boards).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Studio, including building a minimum of 10 integrations.
- Proficiency in Workday tools such as Integrations, Integration Security, EIBs, BIRT, and XSLT.
- Strong expertise in working with multiple data sources and delivering complex technical solutions.
- Recent experience in the Workday Finance workstream, with knowledge of financial processes (e.g., Journal Entries, Journal Lines).
