Job Description:
Our client located in the Providence, RI has an immediate opening for a Workday Lead to join their team in a hybrid remote capacity. The Workday Lead will be responsible for collaborating with and providing consultation to the team implementing Workday Finance, HCM, and Payroll. As a subject matter expert for Finance, HCM, and Payroll, you will foster an overall data culture focusing on the right metric, in the right format, to the right person. Build and maintain a governance structure around our data and reporting; lead the strategy behind the delivery of our data, how, what, when, and who will receive the data to ensure we are delivering actionable insights to drive people and company performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and delivery of complex Finance reports; manage project deliverables, milestones, and specified project tasks.
- Review the effectiveness of reporting solutions, improve current reports, or operationalize new reports/methods as needed.
- Partner with the Finance Systems team on leveraging Workday and executing implementation plan for bi-annual upgrades to the reporting, analytics, and planning areas.
- Perform UAT and obtain sign-off for production deployments.
- Lead Prism strategy and development of metrics, reporting and dashboards based on business strategy and insights; establish checkpoints on results and impacts.
- Develop a deep understanding of data structures and data sources within Workday and Prism to extract relevant information for reporting purposes.
- Strong knowledge of Finance process, policies, and data structures, with an ability to translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
- Ability to collect, coordinate, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy and with highly confidential data.
- Understand complexities and nuances with reporting on different organization hierarchies.
- Prior experience with data governance, auditing, developing standards, and documentation.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience architecting, designing, implementing, and maintaining Integrations using data connections to and from Workday.
- Translate functional needs into technical solutions. Provide recommendations that balance meeting business needs and creating scalable, best in class technology solutions and experiences.
- Monitor and recommend changes to improve processes, technology, and data quality.
- Lead technology intake and design sessions across all teams, SMEs, business leaders, business transaction partners, Agencies, etc., on topics including Workday Integrations, processes, and connections to other systems.
- Responsible for understanding, creating, and implementing end to end technology processes, identifying, and closing gaps in processes and dependencies and transforming the technology landscape, specifically utilizing data connections.
- Design and develop interfaces and conduct unit and integration tests.
- Manage system integrations within the architecture of the Workday Finance system.
- Provide support for Workday inbound and outbound integration issues, changes to existing integrations and develop new integrations.
- Experience with Studio, BIRT, EIBs, Core Connectors
- Perform routine break/fix support and regression testing and support the inbound/outbound interfaces to the systems.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Oracle EBS developer.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience creating new OAF pages and forms as well as extensions on current e-business suite OAF forms.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience using Java J-Developer Business suite with extensive experience in Release 12.2
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience developing forms customization using custom.pll.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Integrated SOA Gateway (ISG) SOAP and REST interfaces.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience using Oracle API to import data preferred.
- Capability to develop or modify E-Business suite reports as required.
- The candidate must be able to demonstrate in-depth experience in Oracle Financials.
- Provide technical and functional assistance for general ledger, procurement (including Purchasing, iProcurement, iSupplier, and Sourcing), Accounts payable, Fixed Assets and accounts receivable.
- Troubleshoot and work with Oracle Support to resolve problems.
- The Oracle EBS Developer must have the ability to create documentation, both technical and end user.
Required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience developing and maintaining simple to complex Workday reports and dashboards, including calculated fields, worksheets, report groups, discovery boards, matrix and composite reports, custom objects.
- 5+ years of advanced experience with Workday Studio (minimum of 10 Studio integrations), Workday Report Writer, Calculated fields Workday Extend, CCB, BIRT, EIBs, Core Connectors, Integration System User (ISU), Integration System Security Group (ISSG)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring, developing and testing on the Workday platform (Proficient with Integrations, Integration Security, Workday Studio, Cloud Connect, EIBs, BIRT, Calculated Fields, Report Writer, XML, XSLT, SOAP and Rest APIs)
- 5+ years Finance data analysis experience, including the ability to understand business requirements, user needs and translate them into operational requirements.
- 3+ years’ experience with Workday Prism Analytics
