Overview
Seeking a Senior Workday Business Analyst with a financial and accounting focus to support business operations and enhance Workday functionality within an established regulatory organization. This role involves working closely with finance, budget, and procurement teams to streamline processes, ensure alignment with business objectives, and optimize the functionality of Workday and other ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the bridge between business units (Finance, Procurement, HR) and technology, ensuring requirements are clearly understood, documented, and implemented.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Workday GL, Accounting, and Procurement modules to support configurations, process flows, and system optimizations.
- Serve as the main point of contact for ERP-related projects, actively engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead business process analysis and reengineering efforts to maximize the functionality of Workday and other integrated ERP tools.
- Monitor and maintain relationships with business units, providing guidance and insight into system configurations and tool utilization.
- Oversee module implementations, document processes, and manage project timelines to meet business objectives.
- Prepare business cases, requirements documentation, and technical specifications for finance-related projects.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within ERP or Workday environments, focusing on financials and accounting.
- Expertise in business process analysis, financial systems, and ERP modules (Workday preferred; other ERP systems such as SAP, PeopleSoft, and NetSuite are also relevant).
- Strong analytical and communication skills with a track record of successful project documentation, stakeholder engagement, and requirement gathering.
- Experience working with integration tools (e.g., ADP, Concur) and conducting data validation and business process reengineering.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach, able to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

- Work Location: Remote, with a preference for candidates near Atlanta or within the Southeast region to facilitate occasional in-person meetings.
