Overview
TalentFish is casting a line for a Technical
Manager Workday Financials for a healthcare organization. This is a direct hire REMOTE role. In this role you will be responsible for advising, implementing, supporting and maintaining Workday Financials and Supply Chain and managing a team of finance analysts and Supply Chain analyst and report writers. This includes the design and configuration of Workday foundation data model, core accounting, supplier and customer accounts expense management, banking and settlement, projects, grants, budgets, procurement, inventory, sourcing and contracts. Experience in Healthcare/Hospital is required. You will be the primary Workday Financials Leader reporting to the Workday Platform Director.
Role includes cross-application configuration of business processes and report administration and will be responsible for case management tier operating model by partnering with other Workday application leaders in a team environment. This role reports directly to the Director of Workday Applications and will collaborate with key stakeholders.
The is a "Big Bang Workday implementations. This is a lead/manager level position you will be leading the internal processes and tool selection for Finance and Supply Chain.
What You Bring To The Role.
- 7-10 years of professional experience
- 5 plus years of Workday Financials experience in healthcare industry
- 2 plus Workday Financials implementations
- Experience advising on the implementation of Workday Financials
- Hands on Technical Workday Financials experience (Workday certification nice to have)
- Experience working with SI's and improving processes
- Experience with implementation strategy
- Experience advising and implementing tools and processes
- Experience advising and recommending resources
- Must have strong leadership skills and experience and executive presence
- 7-10 years of experience working on financial and supply chain systems
- 2 year of experience managing teams
What You'll Do.
- Lead architect of the implementation and ongoing management of Workday Finance Management suite of applications
- Collaborate with HR, Supply Chain Management, Finance, and technical teams to gather requirements and design solutions
- Interacts with internal and external stakeholders to foster positive and productive relationships
- Subject matter expert who oversees the configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday updates and enhancements
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the Workday system
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot
- Provide input to training programs for stakeholders to maximize the use of Workday functionalities
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external consultants as needed
- Stay current with Workday updates and industry best practices to continuously improve Finance management processes
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of Workday analysts
- Assigns and coordinates team resources to meet group goals
- Coordinate and ensure proper change control processes are followed
- Work with the internal technical and leadership teams and vendors
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of Workday Financials post implementation
- Use Workday Technical skills and experience to ensure proper integration and implementation of Workday
