Our client in Chicago is seeking a Workday Reporting Analyst for a direct hire role.
The job requires 6 days a month onsite at their offices in downtown Chicago.

Key Responsibilities:
- Report Development: Design and develop custom reports, calculated fields, and dashboards in Workday to meet business needs across various functional areas, including HR, payroll, finance, and more.
- Data Analysis: Interpret and analyze data from Workday to provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Maintain Reporting Tools: Regularly update and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to ensure data accuracy and relevancy.
- User Support: Provide training and ongoing support to internal users on how to utilize Workday reporting features effectively.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with HR, finance, and IT teams to gather reporting requirements and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality reports.
- Compliance Reporting: Assist in creating and maintaining reports required for compliance, audits, and regulatory needs.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of Workday reporting solutions, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on new Workday functionalities and reporting capabilities, implementing process improvements and enhancements when applicable.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in Workday report development and data analysis.
- Proficiency in creating advanced reports using Workday Report Writer, calculated fields, and dashboards.
- Experience in developing complex reports across multiple modules (e.g., HCM, Payroll, Finance).
- Workday Pro certified
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of Workday data structures, business processes, and security models.
- Proficiency with Workday tools (e.g., Prism, Advanced Reporting, BIRT, Workday Studio).
- Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make recommendations.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with business users and technical teams.
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
