As a Senior Digital Marketing Executive in Kainos, you will work within a Services Marketing team in the US, working closely with the Digital Strategy Director and wider Kainos Digital Center of Excellence. You will use your technical knowledge of digital marketing and automation (Marketo) to advise upon and own digital aspects of campaigns being run by colleagues that are designed to generate leads to fuel the sales pipeline. You will act as a trusted advisor to key internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery against plan.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Owning and implementing digital execution and plans –You will support in delivery of campaign plans and in some cases develop and lead demand generation plans, aligned to commercial need. Projects may include the segmenting data from CRM and evaluating channels and campaign performance
- Digital channels – You will contribute to effective use of our digital channels – including the website (Optimizely) and social media – and use your expertise to drive continual improvement and best practice. This includes training teams in the US, contributing to documentation and adoption of new processes or best practice within the team.
- Marketing Automation – You will work as part of a Digital Center of Excellence for colleagues across marketing - advising, creating, and setting up CRM and MAP (Marketo) aspects of campaigns – including data, templates, nurtures, landing pages, lead scoring and management – all to feed sales pipeline in a measured way.
- Inbound and outbound campaigns – You will partner with marketing colleagues to advise upon and execute digital aspects of campaigns including batch-email campaigns, event, nurtures, paid social and retargeting etc.
- Marketing operations, reporting and ROI – you will contribute to marketing effectiveness and ROI reporting for Kainos as needed and work with colleagues across marketing to create web and campaign performance reports on an ongoing basis. This includes campaign channel ROI and lead contact lifecycle reports. You will work within the marketing and operations playbook for Kainos, working with business unit marketing leads to ensure team ways of working are consistent, embedded and optimized.
- Working as part of a team - you will proactively work and collaborate as part of the marketing team to deliver against overall OKRs. You will upskill and coach colleagues and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders of all levels across the business.
Minimum (essential) Requirements
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge across digital marketing including extensive use of marketing automation to generate leads
- Marketo Certified Associate (MCA) or Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) status
- Excellent working knowledge of CRM (ideally MS Dynamics or Salesforce)
- Digital and social media advertising experience (certification/qualifications desirable)
- Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management skills and organizational skills
- Analytical reporting skills, with experience of GA4 and Google Tag Manager.
- Experience of working with data, including audience segmentation
- Good understanding of data handling and processing for GDPR or similar compliancy
- Track record of campaign delivery against targets (quarterly and annual)
- Capable of managing your own workload, while operating in a highly competitive and pressurized environment and meeting deadlines in accordance with business requirements
Desirable
- Marketo Certified Expert (MCE)
- Experience of partnering with sales on campaigns to feed pipeline.
- Experience in CMS/web platforms like Optimizely, Site Core or Adobe Experience Platform.
- Knowledge of lead generation and lead lifecycles
- Some technology experience and a good understanding of technology trends and their potential impact on current and future marketing plans.
