Our client, a $170bn AUM alternative asset management firm in Midtown Manhattan, is currently seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support a small team of talent acquisition professionals. They are seeking candidates with direct Recruitment Coordinating experience within Financial Services and ideally, candidates have a can-do attitude, function well in a fast-paced environment, and are always looking for a way to improve processes.
The firm boasts a collaborative, warm environment, and the coordinator will sit with the rest of the TA and HR team. The firm is on a hybrid schedule with Monday through Thursday in the office, Fridays from home.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate with recruiters and administrative professionals to coordinate meetings and interviews.
· Collaborate with the Workday Consultant to help build out and test a functional interview scheduling process through Workday.
· Ad hoc projects for the firm’s internship program, including sending out emails, tracking in Workday, dispositioning candidates, and creating candidate pools.
· Maintain candidate data in the Firm’s applicant tracking system and updating resumes, interview notes and candidate status.
Requirements:
· Experience within the financial services industry - candidates without FS experience will NOT be considered
· 2-5 years of experience as a recruiting coordinator
· Experience with Workday
· Knowledge of Excel is preferred, but not required
· Exceptional interpersonal skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· A can-do attitude, a willingness to learn, and an ability to shift between priorities and projects quickly
· Bachelor’s degree
