Workday HCM Business Relationship Manager
6-Month Contract-to-Hire
Remote w/ Occasional Travel to NC or SC
Our client is one of the largest healthcare providers on the East Coast, that recently went live with Workday HCM this past January. They’re currently looking to bring on a Workday HCM Business Relationship Manager to serve as a liaison/bridge the gap between technical Workday teams and business teams. This person will be responsible for supporting Workday HCM projects related to system optimization and improvements for the platform. Strong understanding of Workday HCM best practices, excellent communication skills, and prior experience managing Workday projects will be required for this role!
This position is a 6-Month Contract-to-Hire, and Remote w/ minimal travel to either NC or SC for go-lives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with HR teams and IT teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the platform.
- Manage Workday HCM projects related to system enhancements, upgrades, integrations, etc.
- Provide regular updates on Workday HCM performance and initiatives to stakeholders.
- Keep project timelines on track, manage risks, and ensure milestones are being met.
- Work closely with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to uncover business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into Workday HCM requirements.
- Create strategic Workday HCM plans to align with the organization’s HR goals.
- Optimize HR process and workflows to improve the efficiency and use of Workday HCM
- Understand the current HR processes and identify opportunities for improvement and system enhancements
- Collaborate with HR leadership folks to ensure Workday’s functionality is aligning to their goals
- Stay informed on Workday HCM best practices and communicate ways to improve the utilization of the system within the organization.
- Communicate with external vendors and consultants as needed, and act as a point-of-contact for Workday.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with Workday HCM.
- Experience with Workday implementations & optimization of Workday post go-live
- Experience communicating with functional teams, HR teams, and technical teams.
- Strong knowledge of Workday HCM best practices and providing process improvements.
- Strong project management skills, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Workday certification is preferred.
- Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
