About the Team
Workday has launched an Enterprise Data and Analytics (ED&A) Team to Transform and optimize the way Workday creates and shares trusted data to drive actionable insights and data led innovation across the enterprise. To enable this strategy, the ED&A team has worked with the business to identify critical business areas in which data and analytics can make a material difference in the execution of Workday’s strategic goals. Each of these goals is being organized as a data product with a dedicated multi-functional team to drive a diverse set of data management, governance, and data analytics to realize relevant, measurable business change.
As part of ED&A and enabling this strategy, the Enterprise Data Governance team drives the creation of policies, procedures, and operating models that will improve the overall quality and reliability of data across Workday in support of operational and analytical strategic business outcomes.
About the Role
As Manager of Data Management and Stewardship, you will work closely with IT and business functions to establish, refine, and deploy core data management policies and procedures across the enterprise. You will guide a federated team of data stewards and governance specialists to drive data quality and relevancy across the organization. This is a outstanding opportunity to join a team of passionate data professionals and build a high-functioning operational data management and stewardship program.

Work with Enterprise Data Systems team and product owner to set strategic goals and initiatives for CDM/MDM platform

Establish a federated data stewardship program with representation from all relevant data domains and business functions

Improve overall quality of critical date elements and operational efficiency

Align with IT teams to ensure data quality efforts are complete across enterprise systems

Coordinate survivorship rules within CDM/MDM platform and accountable for ensuring expected outcome

Establish policies and procedures for acquiring new data and data lifecycle management

Provide expert level input and guidance for establishing a lasting data management program with tangible results
About You
Basic Qualifications:
-
5 + years of experience in business operations managing internal stakeholders and working cross-functionally to build out requirements into a mature MDM program
-
5+ years of Experience with Reltio (or equivalent MDM technology)
-
2 + years of experience working in an environment with the following platforms - Salesforce, Workday, Marketo and or equivalent.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $143,600 USD - $215,500 USD
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $130,000 USD - $247,600 USD
