Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite in Sunnyvale, CA)
Position Summary:
The IT Business Systems Analyst will serve as a Workday Systems Analyst/Developer, providing functional and technical support for Workday HCM. This role involves configuring Workday modules, troubleshooting integrations, and translating business requirements into effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and design Workday HCM areas, including core functions, absence, benefits, and compensation.
- Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 technical support and develop interfaces.
- Build and debug custom reports, EIBs, connectors, and calculated fields.
- Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Create functional specifications and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct various testing phases (unit, integration, regression, user acceptance).
- Maintain system integrity, manage upgrades, and support production processes.
- Engage with business teams to optimize processes and technical solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with the Workday platform in both implementation and support roles.
- Strong knowledge of Workday integrations and project implementations.
- Experience with Workday configuration, user management, and custom fields.
- Proven ability to gather requirements and develop detailed specifications.
- Experience with building custom reports and debugging integrations.
- Workday Pro Certifications (Integrations and HCM) preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a focus on teamwork and detail orientation.
