As an
IS Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our IS department and the Corporate functions of the company, such as Finance, Human Resources, and Legal. You will be responsible for aligning IS initiatives with business goals, ensuring that IS services and projects meet the needs of these departments, and driving continuous improvement. Your expertise in project management will be essential in managing and delivering key IS projects on time and within budget. While prior experience in IS business partnering is not required, a willingness to learn and adapt is crucial.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between IS and Corporate Functions, understanding their needs, challenges, and objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Corporate Function stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IS projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Ability to work with 3rd party vendors and manage service providers to ensure seamless operation.
- Identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements and innovations within Corporate Function processes.
- Work with Corporate Functions to prioritize IS projects and initiatives based on business value and strategic alignment.
- Ensure IS services and solutions are aligned with the requirements of Corporate functions and are delivered with high quality.
- Provide guidance and support to Corporate Functions on IS-related matters, including system implementations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor and report on the performance of IS projects and services, identifying and addressing any issues or risks.
- Collaborate with IS corporate team to help Manage and maintain effective financial controls
- Collaborate with IS teams to develop and implement IS strategies, roadmaps, and policies that support Corporate Function objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact on Corporate functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IS management, project management, or a related role.
- Proven experience in project management, including planning, execution, and delivery of IS projects.
- Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business needs into IS solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Prior experience utilizing Enterprise systems such as SAP, Coupa and Workday is preferred
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance requirements is highly desirable.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities and challenges.
- Understanding of service delivery methodologies including agile and waterfall

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the full and complete base pay range is: $132,000.00 - $198,000.00
Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinent factors. The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, within the established pay framework and our Total Compensation philosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influence individual base pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on a regular basis.
At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
