Job Purpose/Background:
Greenbacker is poised for significant growth and is therefore seeking resources to aid in our continued development. Our team of sales professionals raises capital for multiple offerings at any given time, all of which are focused on the sustainable infrastructure investable universe. Each offering represents a unique offering in the marketplace and serves as an attractive risk & reward profile to the intermediaries that we work with. Sustainable infrastructure is a quickly growing segment of the economy that is being integrated into institutional portfolios and is at the beginning stages of being adopted into High New Worth asset allocations.
Our firm is searching for a Sales Analyst with experience and interest in alternative investment asset management in sustainable infrastructure. This role may be a registered representative through our Managing Broker Dealer partner. This will be a junior role in our growing sales team in order to successfully facilitate the distribution of our various offerings. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, financial advisor servicing, marketing tasks, operations, solving complex issues, identifying inefficiencies with actionable solutions, as well as project managing meaningful initiatives of the department, such as team resource management, CRM system improvement initiatives, and streamlining due diligence processes across departments. The best candidate will be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset that can perform well in a fast-paced environment and can juggle a variety of requests over the course of the workday. The selected individual will need to work as part of a team and at times independently to support all aspects of Greenbacker Capital's sales efforts. The role will report to Greenbacker's sales management and would reside in either New York, NY.
Key Responsibilities: What will you do?
- Execute sales strategy consistent with the Company's sales goals
- Actively work with team to increase productivity and efficiency
- Actively work with the team to maintain and expand on team resources
- Assisting existing and prospective Advisor relationships
- Servicing inbound due diligence requests.
- Fielding operational and service-related requests.
- Identify and actively aid in converting prospects into producers
- Utilize and maintain Greenbacker Capital's CRM system (Salesforce) to create and maintain up to date information on target audience
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Economics, Finance, or related field
- 1 year + of experience in financial services industry
- Must have the ability to work in a challenging and collaborative environment
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proven ability to pay attention to detail
- Ability to execute efficiently and reliably with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to represent the firm professionally with internal and external contacts
- Skills in Microsoft office suite and Salesforce.
- Securities licensed preferred (Series 7 & 63, etc.)
- Knowledge of or experience in environmental studies or sustainable investing a plus
