We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Workday HCM Consultant with strong Testing experience to help with go live and potential post go live support. This is a remote position, but candidate open to ad-hoc hybrid in Milwaukee, WI will get higher priority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Workday HCM modules.
- Lead the implementation and configuration of Workday HCM modules, including Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management, and Payroll
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) on Workday HCM applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and external vendors, to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices.
- Provide regular updates on testing progress and results to stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of test automation scripts.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Workday certification in HCM or related modules
- Proven experience as a Workday HCM Tester or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM modules and functionalities.
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM).
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Workday Test Automation).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
