Description
This is a critical position in the Verily Workday ecosystem. This role will be responsible for the implementation, management, support, and maintenance of Verily’s HR systems and processes as well as designing, building, implementing and maintaining the overall Workday HCM suite. The successful candidate will be a hands-on subject matter expert with deep configuration knowledge in multiple Workday HCM modules, including security. This position requires a driven individual with strong emotional intelligence, a true self-starter with demonstrated experience in high growth, fast-paced organizations. The role will assist our team in developing the best possible long-term solutions by sharing your in-depth knowledge and experiences.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze, configure, and optimize Workday HCM processes to meet organizational needs. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) across multiple Workday functional areas.
- Design and configure security roles & groups, permissions, and data access policies within the Workday system ensuring the appropriate level of data security and segregation of duties
- Stay well-informed on Workday system enhancements and changes by managing Workday releases. Educate our HR teams on enhancements and lead associated deployment activities, inclusive of regression testing, downstream impact analysis and assurance of overall system performance/stability.
- Serve as a strong consultative partner to Verily HR partners, train HR professionals, managers, and employees on how to use the Workday Core HCM module effectively while providing ongoing support to address system-related inquiries and issues.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- BS Degree with minimum of seven (7) years of hands-on experience in Workday HCM configuration and business process experience: Strong configuration knowledge of Human Capital Management (HCM), Organization Hierarchy, Job Architecture, and Security. Additional workday functional area experience is highly desirable.
- Self-starter, self-motivated, able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision. Intellectually curious to learn new technologies and applications. Coach and sets clear expectations for more junior team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet aggressive deadlines and support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday HCM and Security Certified with solid experience in a lead role. Additional Workday certifications is a plus.
- Advanced Compensation (Annual Merit, Equity & Bonus cycles) experience is a plus.
- Kainos automation testing experience is a plus.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000 - $184,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
