Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Workday Project Manager who will be responsible for leading the Project Management workstream on Workday implementation projects. The Workday Project Manager will collaborate closely with clients to ensure successful delivery of Workday solutions, manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, and provide expert guidance on industry best practices.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities (but Not Limited To)
- Lead or support the Project Management workstream on Workday implementation projects.
- Support the creation of workplans for large, complex global engagements, managing risks, budgets, resources, and client relationships.
- Research and resolve day-to-day Workday Project Management issues.
- Work with clients to support new requirements for Project Management within Workday.
- Create and update Workday configurations based on requirement changes.
- Provide support for regular and special Project Management processes in Workday.
- Assist in Project Management activities such as posting, bank transfers, and paychecks in Workday.
- Support legal and regulatory reporting requirements within Workday.
- Assist with year-end reporting and other related activities in Workday.
- Identify strategies, risks, and options, and recommend approaches and mitigations to meet client and functional requirements.
- Architect Workday HCM solutions ensuring cohesive work streams and mitigating cross-functional impacts.
- Advise clients on industry standards and leading practices.
- Demonstrate design options using prototyping.
- Provide regular status updates to the product owner and sponsors, keeping them informed of overall project status.
- Employ strong stakeholder management skills to achieve project objectives.
- Support innovation through the development of new industry-leading methods and assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum of 12 years of work experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Workday Project Management Implementations.
- Workday Partner Certification is required.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Advanced Workday certifications are a plus.
