Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Doral, FL that is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst. Summary: This role effectively communicates application development needs to the Information Management team in a manner consistent with the company Systems Development Methodology. The BSA applies personal and technical skills to identify, analyze, and communicate business processes, business requirements, and business rules in a complex, multi-system environment. This position is responsible for developing jointly owned Business and IT program and project plans in establishing and delivering projects aligned to the Business portfolio and technology roadmap. Responsibilities:
- Write complex Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and convert BRDs into Functional application specifications, high level designs, and technical documentation
- Documentation should be appropriate for agile and waterfall System Development Methodologies (Epic/Features/User Stories) using modern tools Azure Devops and others Jira, etc.
- Analyze user interface designs whenever necessary to ensure they meet business and usability requirements
- Perform gap analysis, defect identification and tracking, and manage issues and risks to closure
- Communicate effectively and persuasively with business clients, management, and peers throughout a project's full lifecycle
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure the software development process meets business needs
- Work closely with project managers or perform the role of the project manager and demonstrate understanding of the software development lifecycle, quality assurance, and project planning disciplines
- Participate on high level designs and assist in documenting NFR
- Take into consideration security and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) technologies in data warehouse and application integration development when writing requirements, specifications, high level designs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems/MIS or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role with a specialization in IT or software lifecycle applications
- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, software analysis, and exposure interface design
- Axure, Modern Requirements, Azure DevOps, Jira, PL/SQL, MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, MS Power Point
- Strong experience with Waterfall, Agile, Scrum Software Development methodologies
- Knowledgeable in statistical analysis and the Business Intelligence tools
- Prior experience in application integration and data warehouse environments
- Highly effective oral and written communication, a customer-service orientation, the ability to work in a team environment, accepting guidance, and following directions
- Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, sense of urgency, assertiveness, quality focused, initiative, self-starter, willingness to accept new assignments and excellent follow-up
- Financial Systems background is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
