Summary of Role:
This role will be part of a collaborative, fast-paced department responsible for the global administration of our core HR system of record, Workday, and provide support in accordance with established procedures and best practices. The primary focus of this position is to partner with Broadview Employee Experience team and internal customers to analyze work process design and flow and continuously improve and leverage the return on technology capabilities associated with HR systems (Workday).
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Analyze and address complex business challenges, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Develop innovative methods and procedures to streamline information flow and enhance operational efficiency.
- Gather requirements from stakeholders to support business requirement, data gathering and enhance system functionality and performance.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system customizations and updates.
- Conduct thorough unit tests to ensure system functionality meets specified requirements.
- Troubleshoot Workday configuration and reporting issues to identify and fix root causes.
- Support Workday system solution by maintaining organizations, setup data, and security role assignments.
- Design and implement new security configurations; Support existing security configurations including providing routine security administration and troubleshooting security related issues.
- Create medium to complex custom reports and dashboards to meet business needs.
- Assist in the creation and review of mass updates to system database, including creating and uploading EIB documents.
- Analyze Workday Semi- Annual Releases to assess impact of new features; execute unit and system integration test plans.
- Mentor, train and support other Workday team members as directed by the Workday Leader.
- Create Functional Specification documents and Change Requests.
- Support the assessment and resolution of on-going production operations issues.
- Work directly with Broadview Employee Experience team members to understand project concept, objectives, and approach; Create and support the development and maintenance of project plans, tracks all phases of the project, providing timely reporting of uses, coordination actions and resolving conflicts.
- Supports the assessment and resolution of any issues that occur, impacting various project deliverables. Ensure the leadership team is aware of all active issues and their resolution plans.
- Review, analyze, and create detailed documentation of business processes and system functionality, including workflow, program functions and steps required to execute systems transactions/processes.
- Analyze Broadview Workday business process activities and trends; compare industry standards and best practices. Present findings and make recommendations to address improvement opportunities.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, HRIS or Human Resources.
- 2-3+ years of experience as a Workday Business Analyst II.
- 3-4 years of strong functional and technical experience in two or more of the following modules within the Workday HCM Suite: HCM Core, Data Analytics, Recruiting, Payroll/ Absence, Talent & Performance, adaptive planning and Peakon.
- Workday Business Process Design and Integrations experience.
- Proven relationship building and collaboration skills.
- Ability to look beyond current issues and prepare and plan for long term solutions that support business vision and objectives.
- High degree of competency with product and project management skills.
- Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and business/IT partner collaboration skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple organizational levels internally and externally.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, including the ability to perceive patterns and relationships between technologies, processes, and business models, in order to create original concepts and theories, and to think creatively.
Starting Compensation: $72,182-$88,423 annually, plus a competitive benefits package.
