We have an immediate opportunity with one of our key clients for a position of Workday Time & Payroll Analyst, to work on a Remote basis.
Pay Rate: $60 - $65/hr on C2C
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Workday Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Payroll, providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and project timelines, ensuring delivery of effective solutions within go-live dates.
- Lead the configuration of Workday Time Tracking, Absence Management, Payroll, Reporting, and Integrations, or support external consultants to adjust current configurations for new processes.
- Play a key role in the design, build, testing, and deployment phases of Workday projects, contributing to task planning and execution, and communicating progress in a timely manner.
- Perform detailed architectural, technical, and functional analysis to meet project management and process requirements.
- Manage and complete various project administration tasks, leveraging your functional knowledge and experience with PMM (waterfall) methodologies.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Workday Time Tracking and/or Absence Management in a technical or analyst role.
- Experience with at least two full lifecycle projects (from design to go-live) involving Time Tracking and/or Absence Management.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Workday configuration, business processes, security, integrations, and reporting within the Time Tracking and Absence Management domains.
- General familiarity with time clock operations and support in a Workday environment.
- Knowledge of payroll concepts and processes, including understanding of Workday Payroll.
- Experience working with Workday APIs and web services, such as Get Workers or Put Time Clock Events.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and interpret technical, functional, and procedural information for project documentation.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in PMM (waterfall) methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Strongly Preferred
- Expertise with dormakaba Bcomm time clock system configuration or support.
- Experience building and supporting complex Workday integrations.
- Experience leading Workday testing and defect resolution processes.
- Familiarity with regional differences in time, absence, and payroll customs.
Nice To Have
- Experience as a Time Administrator or Payroll Administrator.
- Experience in a Workday Payroll deployment project.
- PMM certification or Agile/SCRUM certification.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
