Position Overview:
Our client, a prominent pharmaceutical company, is embarking on a greenfield Workday HRIS implementation and seeks an experienced Workday HRIS Director to lead this critical initiative. This role is designed for an HRIS expert with a strong background in Workday and experience in enterprise-level deployments. The Workday HRIS Director will oversee all stages of this implementation, from planning and design to execution and optimization, ensuring alignment with the company’s broader digital transformation goals.
This is a unique opportunity to influence the HR technology landscape within a leading life sciences organization, working with cross-functional teams and reporting directly to the VP of HR Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Workday Implementation: Oversee all phases of the Workday HCM greenfield implementation, managing project scope, timeline, and budget.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to define the HR technology roadmap that aligns with business objectives and future HRIS scalability.
- Project Management: Act as the primary project lead, coordinating internal teams, external consultants, and Workday partners to deliver a seamless and timely implementation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with HR, IT, Finance, and Operations teams to gather requirements, prioritize project tasks, and communicate progress across the organization.
- Process Optimization: Design and document best practices for HR workflows, ensuring efficient and effective processes within the Workday ecosystem.
- Data Governance and Security: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Post-Implementation Support: Develop a post-go-live support structure, including training, ongoing enhancements, and issue resolution.
- Team Leadership and Development: Build and mentor a team of HRIS professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work culture.
