Position Overview: The HRIS Analyst is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of the HR system, focusing on reporting, analytics, and data integrity. Serving as a technical expert and point of contact for the HRIS, this role supports the implementation, testing, and documentation of system updates and enhancements. Additionally, the HRIS Analyst assists in training end-users across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Administration & Maintenance
- Troubleshoot and resolve system or data issues promptly.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Manage system configurations, setup tables, workflows, and simple integrations (e.g., EIB).
- Create and update process documentation, user guides, and system procedures.
System Support & Improvement
- Act as the HRIS subject matter expert, providing guidance to the HR team and end-users.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including workflow enhancements, integrations, and data security.
- Collaborate with HR stakeholders to deliver system coaching, troubleshooting, and user support.
System Enhancements & Efficiency
- Assist in defining, configuring, testing, and implementing system enhancements.
- Play a key role in testing system updates, new implementations, or process changes, ensuring adherence to standard testing, documentation, and change management protocols.
- Stay updated on upcoming system releases, reviewing release notes to assess the impact on workflows and processes.
- Identify and recommend process improvements for streamlined operations.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Develop and maintain standard and custom HRIS reports, dashboards, and apps.
- Generate ad-hoc reports and queries as needed.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting for internal stakeholders.
Training & Documentation
- Design, develop, and maintain system training materials.
- Facilitate training sessions related to system releases and enhancements.
- Train users on new or updated system functionality.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of HRIS experience, preferably with Workday and Workday Payroll.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (functions, pivot tables).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong collaboration skills, working well with both internal HR teams and external partners.
- Effective project, organizational, and time management skills.
- Self-starter who can work independently and take initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, conveying information clearly to end users and HR stakeholders.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
