Workday Financials Lead Consultant (Contract)
This would be hybrid on site 2 days a week in NYC
Role Summary:
Seeking a seasoned Workday Financials Lead Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and implementation support for Workday Financials projects, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of financial processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Workday Financials implementation projects, from design and configuration to testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze existing processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Configure Workday Financials modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Cash Management.
- Perform data migration activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and quality assurance to validate system functionality.
- Provide training and support to end-users, fostering adoption and understanding of Workday Financials.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Workday Financials.
- Stay current with Workday Financials updates and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Workday Financials Consultant.
- Proven track record of successful Workday Financials implementations.
- Deep understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
