Senior Manager Financial Systems - New York - up to $180k base
Our client, a massively successful Software firm, is hiring for a Senior Manager Financial Systems. This company is HQ'd in New York with offices across the globe.
As the Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in optimizing their operational efficiency by overseeing their business systems portfolio. Your primary focus will be on the Workday suite, including Financials, Adaptive Planning, and HCM. You will leverage your deep technical expertise to ensure that they are fully utilizing their systems to drive business value and support organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategy, implementation, and management of all business systems, with a primary focus on the Workday suite.
- Manage a team of technical resources
- Ensure effective utilization and optimization of Workday Financials, Adaptive Planning, and HCM modules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into system enhancements or solutions.
- Develop and maintain best practices for system administration, integration, and reporting.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in business systems to recommend improvements and innovations.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices for using and maximizing the value of our business systems.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role focusing on business systems, particularly with the Workday suite.
- Deep technical knowledge of Workday Financials (Adaptive Planning or Workday HCM experience is a bonus).
- Experience in the Software industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with other business systems and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
