Workday Sr. Consultant-Testing Lead

Key Responsibilities:
- Test Strategy Development: Design and develop a comprehensive testing strategy for Workday HCM and FSCM modules, including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing.
- Test Planning: Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with project requirements and timelines. Ensure that testing activities cover all necessary scenarios, including edge cases and exceptions.
- Execution and Management: Lead and coordinate all testing activities, including test execution, defect tracking, and reporting. Ensure that all issues are logged, prioritized, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with functional leads, business analysts, technical teams, and end-users to understand requirements, develop test cases, and ensure successful testing outcomes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that Workday configurations and customizations meet business requirements and perform as expected. Validate that integrations between Workday and other systems are functioning correctly.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive testing documentation, including test scripts, test data, test results, and defect logs. Provide clear and detailed test reports to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies. Share best practices and provide training to junior team members and end-users as needed.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all testing activities comply with industry standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements, especially those specific to healthcare and financial systems.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Workday testing, with a focus on SCM and Financial domains. HCM is also required. Experience in the healthcare and hospital industry is required.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Workday HCM and FSCM modules, including core HR, payroll, benefits, time tracking, finance, procurement, and supply chain management. Proficiency in Workday reporting and analytics tools.
- Testing Tools: Proficiency in testing tools such as Jira, ALM, Selenium, or similar tools. Experience with Workday-specific testing frameworks is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead testing teams, manage multiple testing cycles, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
