- This is role is open to remote for candidates in the PST - CST time zones. Role is for 90 days to cover a leave. There is good opportunity this gets extended.
Candidate must have hands on experience managing d2d HCM and be HCM Certified. Experience documenting business requirements and understand how the different modules work e.g., advanced compensation, time and attendance etc. Doesn't have to be an IT expert but understand how the data flows.
The Senior Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst is responsible for day-to-day management of Client’s Human Capital Management system (i.e., Workday), including overseeing the processing of employee data, generating HR-related reports, managing system updates, and maintaining data integrity and compliance. The Sr. HRIS Analyst partners closely with Information Technology (IT) to troubleshoot and resolve system breakages, and plan and execute a roadmap of system upgrades and enhancements required to support strategic business/programmatic objectives.
Reporting to the Head of HR Operations, the Sr. HRIS Analyst plays a key role in defining how HRIS can be optimized to provide a positive team member experience and support strategic business or programmatic objectives for the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Collects data and analyzes it to improve HR strategies and processes and suggests ways to increase the functional productivity and workflow of the HR department.
- Develops, documents, and maintains all current and new HRIS business process workflows for efficiency and compliance.
- Designs/maintains user-friendly business processes, guidelines, and documentation to support and enable self-service.
- Maintains data integrity in HRIS by regularly auditing and analyzing data to ensure accuracy and compliance with data protection laws.
- Oversees, and performs as needed, the processing of employee data related to the full scope of employee lifecycle events, from hire to retire – including hiring and onboarding, compensation and benefits administration, performance evaluation, talent management, and offboarding.
- Actively identifies and resolves issues or opportunities for enhanced user experience.
Partners with the IT team to automate, integrate, and configure core HR processes.
- Partners with cross-functional team members (HR COEs) and IT team members to respond to HRIS-related issues, enhancement requests, and other queries.
- Works alongside the IT team to perform regular assessments, routine maintenance, system upgrades, and improvements.
- Oversees all system upgrades and enhancements in close partnership with IT.
Translates functional/business requirements into work breakdown structures and technical specifications via information gathering, workshops, sessions, and interviews.
- Maintains and administers ad hoc report writing tools for end users, training and assisting users as needed.
- Listens to customer needs and explains complex technical issues and solutions in a plain and common descriptive manner.
- Communicates with project teams, clients, and vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resource management or relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in specialized HR Information System (HRIS) role.
- Workday HCM Pro Certified.
- Strong knowledge of data privacy and security requirements.
- Practical experience with HR database administration.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
