Overview
The Resources will provide support which includes troubleshooting Production issues, developing Workday integrations and reports, and performing end-to-end testing of said integrations, reports, and/or business processes. The Resources would support the Production Workday environment, and the development of new solutions and
enhancements.
Requirements
- At least five (5) years programmer/analyst experience.
- At least four (4) years of experience with Workday
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related degree in the IT field or equivalent experience.
Experience
- The ability to configure, implement, test, and document solutions in Workday.
- Possess extensive experience with developing integrations and reports, including BIRT reports.
- Thorough knowledge of security for integrations and reports.
- Possesses experience with developing calculated fields.
- Knowledge of and experience with Workday HCM and Payroll business processes.
- Knowledge of Orchestrate integrations is preferred.
- Strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Design and test assigned integrations and reports.
Capabilities
- Analyzes and studies complex system requirements.
- Design software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manage their implementation.
- Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques, and Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools.
- Estimates software development costs and schedule.
- Reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques.
- Supervises software configuration management.
- Analyzes functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities.
- Develops block diagrams and logic flow charts.
- Translates detailed design into computer software.
- Tests debugs, and refines the computer software to produce the required product. Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.
- Enhances software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.
- Provides technical direction to programmers to ensure program deadlines are met.
- Experience with developing client-server and/or web-based
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills.
- Experience in analysis and design of systems. Knowledge of relational database development or administration. Knowledge of a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Monitor integration issues in Production and work with business users and the scrum team on the issue resolution.
