Job Description
- As a Workday Extend Lead, you will have the opportunity to work with customers to leverage the power of Extend to ensure customers get the maximum value out of their Workday investment.
- This role is responsible for architecting, implementing, and supporting Workday Extend capabilities across the various Workday functional areas, whether independently, as a team member, or in a lead capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult and collaborate with business and technical teams about Extend design/use cases and ongoing maintenance.
- Lead Workday Extend development and testing on assigned projects or for AMS engagements.
- This requires having a good technical and cross-functional knowledge of Workday.
- Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating the Workday cloud application with external applications across the business using Extend
- Design and develop innovative solutions to business challenges leveraging Workday Extend technologies
- Support customers with existing Workday Extend applications deployed in production through incident management and application monitoring activities Position requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in designing & developing custom apps/use cases on the Workday Extend platform.
- Specific use case examples will be requested in the interview process.
- Overall 5+ years in Workday ecosystem in consulting or customer lead roles.
- Ideally certified in Workday Extend and Integrations (Studio). Client is a certified partner for Extend.
- Strong understanding of Workday integrations and related technologies as it relates to Workday Extend.
- This includes technical experience with different integration tools such as WD APIs, EIB, Connectors, Document Transformation, Workday Studio, and Workday Cloud Connect
- Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively come across as a Workday expert and manage client expectations
- Able to work across one or more projects (deployment and AMS type projects).
- Experience working with and leading offshore teams during projects and for ongoing support of above-mentioned modules.
- This will require being able to take early morning and late evening calls to meet global stakeholders.
- Need self-starters with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset to work in a dynamic and fast-growing Workday partner.
